  The music was way too loud.......the sound system needs to be turned down on the songs. Everything else was very worshipful. Love what you'er doing with the LORD. Keep it up.

  It has taken me a long time to find a home church that I love as dearly as I love MCBC. It has stood, with its rich history, in patient anticipation of the Return of The Risen King for nearly 200 years. It has gone largely unnoticed by the mega-churches that surround the area and that dot the Southeast. It is adored by its members, not the building (it could use some work) BUT the body of believers who refuse to submit to a passive view of Christian service and who spread open their arms - expecting a hug - in order to love people where they are. The message is straight from the Word of God. The music is not just piano & organ, but also incorporates guitar, drums, violin and whatever talents God has lent to this body of believers (perhaps the word Eclectic is best used here :-) We are Baptists: yes we stand and greet, yes we pass around the offering plate, communion is taken about quarterly, the alter is open at the end. We are called to love and to be holy and if you are still reading at this point, then perhaps you were called to join us.
